An application form should be completed and sent with payment to the Organizers by the cut-off date of January 20th. An email to sec@DonBowersMemorialRace.org containing the required information is acceptable, providing that payment is received by the due date.

A $50 deposit is due by the cut-off date (January 20th). Remainder of entry if paid by check is also due on that date. Remainder may be paid in cash ($150/200 race, $250/300 race) at the Mushers Meeting. Checks should be made payable to Don Bowers Memorial Race.
Note: A late fee of $25 will be charged for applications received after the cut-off date. No checks will be accepted at the Mushers Meeting.

For your convenience you may have your veterinarian complete a list of the dog names, ages etc., that you intend running on this simple form. Have them sign and date on the bottom.
A letter size copy of the normal race map may be downloaded for printing. Note that this map is only an approximation of actual trail location; actual trail location (and even checkpoints) may vary from year to year.
For the 2010 race, the 300 mile teams will stop at Eaglequest Lodge near Deshka Landing, then return to May’s cabin in Trapper Creek for the finish. All layover checkpoints are thus on the road system, where handlers can stage straw, pick up dropped dogs, and exchange new for broken equipment (with Race Marshall approval, of course).
